  • Bustling restaurant along the main road- recommended to us by the hotel front desk lady and it was delicious and very affordable! Definitely a hit with the locals too- we went at about 2:30pm and the restaurant was still packed. Our favourite was the soto ayam (chicken soup) with rice - not very photogenic but hits all the right spots:) If you are a fan of toufu, go for the tauhu goreng, which is topped with a sweet dark soy sauce and a splash of chilli. We also ordered pecel (a Javanese salad) at the recommendation of the waiter, who spoke a smattering of English. Veg was fresh, but the peanut sauce was a tad bit too sweet for our liking. Most of their mains and also the freshly squeezed juices, are priced at about 15,000 IDR before a 10% tax. All in all a great lunch venue if you can look past all the flies and roaming cats.

  • One of the best indo food I had. Not spicy. Good peanut sauce and eggplant. The only thing they did wrong was the sweets that they brought. They charged for them but they didn’t say it’s for a charge but not like a compliment.

  • Recommended by a friend from Medan. One of a high traffic restaurant on the way to Brastagi. The traffic was quite fast, their service also very effective, they confirmed us to very detail menu when it’s not available & offer us a subtitute. Please try their Ayam Asam Sidikala (if i’m not mistaken) it’s fresh, full of flavor & tasteful. Wide range of menu & all served with very pleasing taste. Reasonable price also written on the menu, cash & online payment available Also their resto is comfortable for us as a Muslim, they have proper musholla

  • One of the best restaurant around this area. After long time ago not visited this area, now the restaurant come with a new and modern concept. T Lontong pecal is still the best and my favourite. Still consistent with the taste and services. And now they serve many menus suitable for anyone who is not like the vegetables. Don't forget to try the wajik and many others snacks. Please come and try, if you come to this area. Unfortunately there are too many flies inside the restaurant. Maybe the owner must looking for the way how to make a better condition.

  • Food: Excellent and flavourful Service: Waiter doesn't know how to promote their best selling food Ambience: Toilet is clean, interior is spacious and airy, but overrun with flies like a swamp. I'm not the only reviewer mentioning this—hope the owner takes action soon.
